
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's relationship with the cause of disability and the needs of the disabled is considered as a part of the priorities and concerns of his human personality and vision due to the importance of the investment of capabilities of all categories of citizens in the march of the development of the society, as well as his conviction that everybody, as partners, shares rights and duties at the same time.
In terms of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' attention to the cause of disability and his support of the needs of the disabled, the beginning was almost 30 years ago with his directive when he was the Governor of Riyadh region, by launching the activities of Disabled Children's Association in Riyadh, as well as providing its first project with his financial support within his generous care where he envisioned with his sense of humanity, the importance of the Association's goals towards this precious group of children and the need for its remedial, educational and rehabilitation programs to help them integrate into the society.
