
Daesh has beheaded 15 Kurdish Peshmerga soldiers who were abducted in January in clashes in Kirkuk governorate, Iraqi security and local sources said on Sunday.
The hostages bodies were found early today in the northern Iraqi governorate.
Daesh militants organized a parade on Friday with 18 hostages affiliated to Kurdish Peshmerga.
The hostages were caged while wearing orange vests like deceased Jordanian pilot Mou'ath al Kasasbeh.
Meanwhile, three civilians were injured Sunday morning after mortar shells fell on southern Tikrit of Salaheddin governorate.
