Damage caused by a fire at a Cairo International Conference Center (CICC) hall on Wednesday will be repaired starting on Thursday, Trade and Industry Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour said.
All the fire damage will be fixed within two months, Abdel Nour said while opening the 55th Cairo Fashion and Tex International Exhibition and the 9th International Exhibition for Leather Industry at the CICC.
Asked about the reason behind the fire, the minister said the public prosecution is investigating the incident and will announce the results afterward, whether it was accidental or on purpose.
A small fire erupted today at the hall due to yesterday's blaze but was put under control.
