
The Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabeel Al-Arabi today held a telephone call with Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdulla Mohammed Al-Said and discussed the dangerous developments in his country. The two sides reviewed the efforts of the UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy Jamal Binomar spotlight the role the Arab League can play to help Yemenis overcome the current crisis.
Dr. Al-Arabi affirmed the stance of the Arab League in support of President Abd Rabboh Mansour Hadi to restore his country’s security and stability and implement the outcome of the National Dialogue, the Partnership and Peace Agreement and the GCC Initiative, which all form the cornerstone of any peaceful political settlement in Yemen.
