Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi and Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar on Tuesday performed exercises along with Military Academy's cadets and a number of Police Academy students at the premises of the Military Academy in Cairo.
The move comes within the framework of the continuous communication and the well-established ties binding the Armed Forces and the Interior Ministry.
The army and police cadets participated in a raft of sports' matches that showed the high level of training and physical and professional competence they enjoy.
Sobhi asserted that the cadets of the military and police academies are the main pillar of Egypt's stability, hailing the significant role played by police and army personnel to preserve the homeland security and face terrorism.
For his part, Abdel Ghaffar said the armed forces and policemen are the basis of Egypt's stability and security and the bulwark against all threats and challenges faced by the state.
