Defence minister leads military funeral for army martyr

Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Defense Minister Colonel General Sedqi Sobhi led a military funeral held for colonel Ahmed Abdel Nabi Baiyoumi, who was martyred while he was in duty yesterday in North Sinai.
Sobhi performed funeral prayers and offered condolences to the family of the martyr, stressing that such heinous terrorist acts will not dissuade or discourage the Egyptians from their fight to uproot terrorism from their country.
Armed Forces' Chief of Staff Mahmoud Hegazy and a host of military top-brass officers were present during the funeral.
