Deputy premier receives new Egyptian ambassador

Deputy Premier Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the newly-appointed Egyptian Ambassador to Bahrain Issam Saleh Awad. During the meeting, Shaikh Mohammed affirmed the solidity of the Bahraini-Egyptian relations, calling for the need to enhance joint action between the two countries for the common interests of the two brotherly peoples. He also wished the new envoy every success in performing his diplomatic duties and bolstering bilateral ties. On his part, Ambassador Issam Saleh Awad expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Premier for the warm welcome and support, pledging that he will do his utmost to enhance Bahraini-Egyptian relations in all fields.
