
The board of trustees members of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies "DERASAT" held a seminar with DERASAT's researchers.
They discussed latest regional and international developments and issues and ramifications thereof on the Arabian Gulf region in general and the Kingdom in particular.
Organised on the side-lines of DERASAT's board of trustees' meeting, the seminar discussed latest regional and international developments and saw the need for further research and analysis.
The DERASAT's Board of Trustees' Chairman Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Ghaffar said that the seminar came up with several views on major intellectual and political issues which require more studying and deliberation at present and in future, including the developments in Arab countries, the emergence of the "terrorist organisations" and "political-Islamic factions" ; and, the transformation in international alliances according to such upheavals and circumstances.
