The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine(DFLP) welcomed on Wednesday Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's call for achieving national unity among Palestinian factions and end divisions.
In press statements, DFLP member Saleh Naser expressed the front's appreciation for Egypt's constant interest of the Palestinian cause and its continued sacrifices so that the Palestinians could set up their independent state with Al Quds as its capital.
He urged all Palestinian factions to respond to the Egyptian call and end this destructive division by holding a comprehensive dialogue involving all signatories of Cairo Agreement signed on May 4, 2014 under an Egyptian sponsorship.
On the fringe of opening an energy project in Assiut on Tuesday, Sisi called on the Palestinians to close ranks and achieve real reconciliation.
