
The Doyen of Diplomatic Corps also Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah praised the Kingdom's role in hosting various workshops and events.
The event would be organised by the GCC General Secretariat on the theme: " Society Building and Youth Initiatives" aimed to encourage youths participation in community development and capacity building emanating from their role in the Bahrain: Capital of Arab Youth 2015.
The Doyen of Diplomatic Corps said that youths are the real strategic investment for the future. He added that the activation of positive youthful energy aims to practically translate the aspirations and directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses the leaders of the GCC countries. He pointed out that the workshop would be a major convergence of Gulf youths in order to get in touch, exchange ideas, experiences, become acquaintances, and to build an integrated, harmonious Gulf community reliant upon ideas of youth.
Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah said that the workshop aims to provide Gulf youth the opportunity to emboss their thumbprints, suggest projects, programmes and constructive initiatives which will definitely be in harmony with their views and aspirations and would satisfy their needs and contribute in building the future of GCC countries.
