The diversity and richness of the Moroccan tourism offer is highlighted at the 37th edition of the International Tourism Fair in Madrid (FITUR 2017), which opened Wednesday with the participation of exhibitors, professionals and experts from all over the world.
The Moroccan stand, which spans over an area of 312 m2, offers a wide panorama of Morocco’s tourist attractions, notably its cultural and natural richness as well as the quality of its tourism and leisure infrastructure.
In a statement to MAP, director of Morocco’s Tourism Office (ONMT) in Spain, Mohamed Sofi, stressed the importance of the Moroccan participation in this fair in order to promote the national tourism product and highlight its diversity.
During this event, the Moroccan delegation will hold several B2B meetings with tour operators, airlines and professionals in order to strengthen links with international partners and prospect new markets, he added.
He also noted that Morocco continues to be among the favored destinations of Spaniards, with a 2% increase in arrivals in 2016 despite a tense international situation.
