At least 12 Iraqis were injured in two subsequent explosions that occurred in the city of Kirkuk, north of Iraq, an Iraqi police source said on Tuesday. The two explosions took place when a car bomb went off in Al-Tesaeen neighborhood followed by an improvised explosive device (IED), injuring 12 Iraqi civilians as a result. Last night, a magnetic bomb placed on the car of Qasim Abdulnabi, officer in inspection directorate in Kirkuk, went off while he was driving in Al-Askari neighborhood in south Kirkuk, killing one of his brothers and severely injuring another.
