Drug smugglers arrested in Oman
Royal Oman Police arrested two people for trying to smuggle drugs.
Muscat - Arab Today
An Asian national was arrested at Salalah International Airport for attempting to smuggle in 35 heroin capsules by concealing them in his stomach.
In another case, customs personnel from Sarfeet Police Station arrested an Omani citizen while attempting to smuggle in drugs which he hid inside his vehicle. The seized items included bars of hashish and psychotropic tablets beside a pistol and bullets. The defendants were referred to the public prosecution for investigation.
