Egypt-Arabia relations historical

Assistant Foreign Minister for consular affairs Hisham el Naqib hailed as historical relations with Saudi Arabia.

In a meeting with representatives of the Egyptian community in Saudi Arabia on the sidelines of a joint consular committee meeting, Naqib said that services offered to nationals are part of an integrated service system.

He said that problems facing Egyptians in Saudi Arabia were discussed with the Saudi side in a bid to solve them.

For his part, Egypt's consul general in Jeddah Adel el Alfi said the committee tackled issues, such as the deportation of Egyptian prisoners.

The Saudi side said they will act to remove some of the obstacles delaying the deportation of Egyptian prisoners.
