Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his visiting Czech counterpart Lubomir Zaoralek stressed the depth of historic relations between the two countries in all spheres.
During a joint press conference Monday, Shoukry said the Czech Republic is a friendly country and the two countries are bound by political and economic relations that Egypt is working on developing.
He pointed out to a visit he made to Czech last year to expound on the developments in Egypt.
Shoukry said he discussed with Zaoralek means of promoting relations and a number of regional issues.
Zaoralek will meet with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi later today, he noted.
The Czech foreign minister arrived in Cairo on Saturday for a two-day visit, leading a 30-strong delegation of government officials and businesspersons.
