
The Egyptian government has decided to delay celebrations marking the fourth anniversary of the January 25 Revolution in mourning over the death of Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdel Aziz.
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab Friday led a high-ranking Egyptian delegation to Riyadh to attend the funeral of the late king.
He will also offer condolences to the Saudi people.
Accompanying Mahlab on his visit are the ministers of defense, petroleum and electricity.
Mahlab earlier mourned the death of King Abdullah who died at 1.00 a.m. KSA.
He called him an "Arab elder" and voiced confidence in King Salman bin Abdel Aziz, the new King of Saudi Arabia, and Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdel Aziz and wished them success.
