
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived in Kuwait on Monday for a two-day visit to head Egypt's delegation to of the tenth session of the Higher Joint Committee for Cooperation.
The Egyptian-Kuwaiti talks mainly focus on ways of boosting economic, social and political cooperation between the two countries, Badr Abdel Aati, the foreign ministry spokesman, said.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah is to head the Kuwaiti delegation to the meeting.
The two ministers are to discuss the latest developments in Syria, Iraq, Libya and the Palestinian territories, Abdel-Atti said.
