Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met here on Wednesday with his Tunisian counterpart Manji al-Hamidi on the sidelines of the Arab-Russian cooperation forum.
Shoukry said that the meeting touched on bilateral relations and the latest regional and international developments of common concern.
Hamiadi, for his part, hailed the Egyptian-Tunisian ties as strategic, noting that the current unrest in the region prompts coordination with Egypt, especially issues related to fighting terrorism and the Libyan crisis.
The two-day forum will discuss bolstering cooperation between Russia and Arab countries in the trade, economic and agricultural domains.
The forum will also discuss the Syrian crisis, the Palestinian cause and the situation in Yemen, Iraq and Libya.
