The opening of a utility data center in Khartoum in collaboration with the Cairo Utility Data Center is a cooperation model to follow, Khartoum Governor Abdel Rahim Mohammed Hussein said.
During the project opening on Tuesday, Hussein hailed the Egyptian cadres who have been working in Khartoum over the past six months to supply the center with information, modern techniques and infrastructure, enabling it to start operation today.
The Khartoum center is the second largest in Africa after Cairo’s, he said during the event, which was attended by Egypt’s Ambassador here Ossama Shaltout and Cairo Utility Data Center Director Soheir Abdel Rahman.
