Presidency Spokesman Alaa Youssef revealed current Egyptian consultations on naming an Arab League presidency nominee, who will succeed the incumbent Secretary General Nabil el Araby.
Youssef also pointed out to a statement, issued by the presidency earlier in the day, to express appreciation to el Araby's strenuous efforts.
He, meanwhile, refereed to another statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry on the nomination of el Araby's successor.
The spokesman made the remarks during his current visit to Tokyo.
