Egypt, Kuwait FMs share same views regarding regional developments

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry's meeting with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Sabah Khaled al Hamad al Sabah reflected a consensus between their countries regarding developments in Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq, Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said Saturday.

Shoukry and Sheikh Sabah also share the same views about fighting terrorism, Abdel Aati said.

He made it clear that the top diplomat's visit to Kuwait is meant to coordinate stances regarding regional developments that affect Arab national security.

The two foreign ministers also discussed means of boosting bilateral relations to better serve their peoples and the Arab nation, the spokesman further said.

Talks also took up the recent nuclear deal between Iran and the world powers, Abdel Aati added.
