Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met here Monday with his Libyan counterpart Mohamed al Dairi, who is currently visiting Egypt, to consult with officials on the conditions in crisis-hit Libya along with efforts to form a national accord government, said Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Abu Zeid.
The Egyptian and Libyan sides agreed on the need for supporting efforts aiming to form a national accord government and put Libya first above any and all considerations, added the spokesman.
The meeting also tackled the conditions of members of the Libyan community in Egypt, he said.
The two ministers agreed to continue consultations within the upcoming days and weeks either through holding bilateral meetings or as part of the various international conferences, according to the spokesman.
