Aviation Minister Hossam Kamal received Thursday Palestinian Transport Minister Samih Tabila, and Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Yousef Adeis to discuss ways of boosting cooperation with regard to the movement of Palestinian pilgrims.
Renewing the terms of a cooperation protocol in the domain of civil aviation, which was signed in 1994, was also high on the agenda of the meeting.
Kamel stressed that the Egyptian Aviation Ministry spared no effort in sharing its experience with the Palestinian side in the different fields of civil aviation.
He highlighted that Egypt offered all available facilities to ease the movement of Palestinian pilgrims through the Rafah crossing and airports.
For his part, the Palestinian transport minister said he wished expanding cooperation deals between the Egyptian and Palestinian civil aviation authorities.
In the meantime, the Awqaf minister appreciated the efforts exerted by Egyptian authorities to facilitate traveling measures for Palestinian pilgrims.
