
The Egyptian armed forces and the police have tighted security measures ahead of marches that will be organized by the Muslim Brotherhood, the Middle East News Agency reported Friday. The Armed Force in Egypt have blocked number of streets and squares, and hightened security measures hours before the start of the demonstrations that will take place on streets leading to Rabaa al-Adawiya's Square, Tahrir Square, US embassy, Ministry of Defense, Republican Guard House, Federal Palace. A number of armored vehicles were deployed, metal barriers were setup and streets were reinforced with barbed wire. Any attempts to impersonate a military personnel or wear a military uniform unlawfully is an outside law act and will be dealt firmly with in accordance to law. The US Embassy in Cairo issued a new security warning message today to its nationals in Egypt about what was published in the local media on the possibility of violent protests on Friday. The embassy recommended to their nationals to stay away from places of demonstrations and urged them to follow local media coverage for the latest information.
