Means of enhancing bilateral cooperation were the focus of a meeting held in on Thursday between Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mobarak Al-Khrinej and President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi.
In a statement to KUNA after the meeting, Al-Khrinej expressed hope Egypt would successfully complete the "roadmap for the future" through the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
He also underlined keenness by the National Assembly, in particular the Kuwaiti-Egyptian parliamentary friendship committee, on enhancing cooperation for the good of both countries, and the joint Arab action.
The meeting touched on the recent visit by Al-Sisi to Kuwait, as Al-Khrinej stressed Egypt "will always remain the beating heart of the Arab nation." He lauded the deep-rooted bilateral relations in all fields and appreciated Egypt's support to the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
