
Egypt's Defense Minister Field Marshal Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Friday telephoned Libyan Prime Minister Ali Zeidan to inquire after the situation in Libya following media reports about military moves aiming at undermining legitimacy in the country.Egypt's army chief stressed his country's support for Libya to pass the transitional stage, the official website of the Libyan government reported."Egypt will not tolerate anyone who seeks to destabilize Libya," Sisi said.For his part, the Libyan premier voiced appreciation for Egypt's stance, stressing that the situation is stable in Libya."Such reports are desperate attempts to discourage the Libyan people to achieve their goals including the establishment of a state of democracy and freedom and a peaceful power rotation," Zeidan said.
