
Egypt and Saudi Arabia share identical views on regional issues with common concern, the two countries' foreign ministers said on Sunday.
Sameh Shoukry and Adel el Jubeir told a press conference in Cairo they held expanded talks on bilateral ties and ways to boost them.
The meeting touched on the situation in Palestine, the latest developments in Syria and the salutation in Libya and Yemen, the Egyptian-top diplomat said.
During the gathering, the two ministers asserted the importance of preserving Arab national security.
Shoukry and Al jubeir stressed the continuous communication between the two countries and agreed to accelerate the pace of political consultations between Cairo and Riyadh on issues of common concern.
