Egypt shortens curfew time

Egypt's cabinet decided on Thursday to shorten the curfew imposed on the country's 14 governorates, starting next Saturday The curfew will start at 12:00 a.m. (local time) and lasts until 05:00 a.m. except for Fridays usually starts the curfew on 07:00 p.m. through 05:00 a.m. In its statement, the cabinet stated the decision aims to alleviate burdens on citizens and respond to popular demands.
