The Egyptian and Sudanese Foreign Ministers - Sameh Shoukry and Ibrahim Ghandour respectively – underlined profound bilateral ties.
Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Shoukry said he had tete-a-tete talks with the Sudanese minister, then held a plenary session with the participation of both sides.
Under directives of Egyptian and Sudanese President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Omar al Bashir respectively, the two sides work on furthering bilateral ties, he said.
He added that the talks tackled preparations for the higher joint committee meeting in the first quarter of 2016.
The talks also addressed a host of bilateral and regional issues, topped by the Ehiopia dam, he said, noting that he and Ghandour shared almost identical views.
