Egypt tops list of Russian wheat importers

Russian wheat exports to Egypt reached about 4.9 million tons in the period from July 2015 to February 2016, the Russian Agriculture Ministry said on Thursday.
In statements to the Russian news agency Sputnik, the ministry said Egypt tops the list of Russian wheat importers from July 2015 and June 30, 2016.
The ministry experts expected Russian wheat exports to Egypt to stand at 5.5 to 6 million tons in the current agricultural season.
