Egypt and Tunisia seek to foster cooperation in combating terror, the Egyptian ambassador in Tunis said late Tuesday.
During a ceremony at the Egyptian embassy marking the 63rd anniversary of the July revolution, Ambassador Ayman Musharafa saluted the Egyptian army and police for their non-stop efforts to eradicate terror.
He noted that this ceremony coincides with preparations for opening the new Suez Canal on August 6.
He said the new Suez Canal is just the start of mammoth projects to be carried out within the coming five years at 100 billion dollar investments.
He urges Tunisian investors to do business on the Suez Canal banks.
Several Tunisian ministers, public figures and ambassadors attended the ceremony.
