
Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Tarek Adel on Monday said Egypt is keen to contact international parties to encourage them to deal positively with the Syrian refugees crisis.
Egypt calls on all international parties into meet the needs of the Syrian refugees, as well as participating in bearing the burdens faced by Egypt and other countries in the region which is hosting refugees.
Adel received Director of the Middle East Department in the ministry of foreign affairs in Germany Miguel Berger, who is currently visiting Cairo.
The two sides discussed the overall issues and challenges facing the region, especially the Syrian crisis and Egypt's efforts in this regard.
The Egyptian diplomat welcomed German positions towards the refugees, calling for more European and international urgent actions to deal with the crisis along with making more efforts to build capabilities of host communities for Syrian refugees, including Egypt, to deal with the current humanitarian crisis.
