The terrorist attack which killed six Egyptian soldiers Saturday night will not prevent the government from destroying all terrorist groups in the country, stated Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab.
Egypt will not have second thoughts on continuing its campaign against terrorism after the incident which occurred in the Bahariya Oasis, he noted on Sunday, adding that these groups are affecting the country's security and economy.
The Egyptian Cabinet expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the families of the six victims who were attacked by smugglers.
During May, the Egyptian army was able to arrest smugglers and seize weapons, ammo and drugs. It also prevented 936 people from illegal border crossing
