
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry telephoned his Algerian counterpart Ramadan Lamamra to exchange views on a number of regional issues of mutual concern.
The two sides tackled the latest developments in the Libyan file, the ongoing negotiations in Geneva between the Libyan parties concerned and the Palestinian issue in light of the latest Arab League Council resolution at the ministerial level in this regard, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Badr Abde Aati said Wednesday.
The two foreign ministers also discussed the latest Syrian crisis and the latest developments in Yemen and Iraq, he added.
They also discussed ways to promote bilateral relations, he said.
