Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Hatem Seif el Nasr urged the international community on Tuesday to uproot terrorism and dry up financial resources of terrorist groups.
He made the statements during a meeting with a Dutch delegation to discuss ways of bolstering ties between Egypt and European countries and tackle issues of mutual concern as well as the situation in Libya, Syria and Yemen.
During the get-together, he expressed Egypt's keenness on reinforcing ties with the Netherlands in all fields, particularly in trade, culture, education, health and energy.
"Egypt is adamant to entrench the rule of law," he said, stressing that the Egyptian judges are independent and no one has authority over them.
