The cabinet convened Wednesday under Premier Ibrahim Mahlab to discuss the repercussions of Monday's killing of Prosecutor General Hesham Barakat.
The meeting will also review a report on the security conditions and needed laws and measures to confront terror in the coming period.
The meeting will also review reports on securing staple commodities and tightening market monitoring during the holy fasting month of Ramadan in line with directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
