Non-peaceful protests that harm state facilities or hamper people's interests are banned by Islamic laws, Dar al Iftaa said.
In a statement Thursday, Dar al Iftaa said that adopting subversive ideas and refusing coexistence with society are religiously prohibited because they ruin people's and state's interests.
The statement called on patriotic citizens to trash such subversive thoughts, noting that maintaining wide-scale social solidarity and proceeding with confronting takfiri thought will foil any schemes tailored against Egypt.
The statement called on all powers and parties to heed national interests.
