
The ninth conference of Egyptian expatriates kicked off here on Monday with the participation of 16 ministers and ministry representatives.
The event is organized by the Manpower Ministry and hosted by Luxor Governor Mohamed Badr.
Addressing the conference dubbed "our unity is our strength", Manpower Minister Nahed Ashry pointed out to the success of the new Suez Canal project, saying it proved that the Egyptian people can achieve their dreams and national goals through unity regardless of the challenges and difficulties.
The support of Egyptian expatriates also contributed to the success of the great promising national project, she said.
She expressed hope the conference comes out with tangible commitments and projects for the benefit of the nation.
