Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived here earlier Friday following a two-leg Asian tour.
The seven-day tour took Shoukry to South Korea and Japan as part of preparations for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's upcoming visits to Seoul and Tokyo.
During his visits to Seoul and Tokyo respectively, Shoukry met with top officials to bolster relations with the two countries.
Cooperation between Egypt and both South Korea and Japan in the economic, trade and cultural arenas, as well as tourism, were discussed in the meetings.
Sisi is scheduled to visit South Korea and Japan in the first quarter of 2016.
