Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry praised on Thursday ties between Egypt and South Sudan.
On the sidelines of his participation in the fourth anniversary of South Sudan’s independence, Shoukry made reference to friendly ties between Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his South Sudanese counterpart Silva Kiir Mayardit.
The two leaders convened four times within a year to discuss mutual cooperation, Shoukry said, revealing Sisi’s orders to the government and ministers to support development in South Sudan.
He further stressed coordination between the two countries regarding a number of regional and international issues, as well as cooperation in the health and educational fields.
