
Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will participate Sunday night in the official funeral ceremony of former Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al Faisal who passed away on Thursday, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Ati said on Sunday.
Shoukry and some Arab foreign ministers had attended Saturday the funeral prayers of the late Saudi prince, Abdel Aati added.
During the funeral service, the foreign minister conveyed condolences of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the Egyptian people to the deceased's family, according to Abdel Aati.
Prince Saud, who was born in 1940, died in the United States on Thursday.
He served as foreign minister for 40 years.
