Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will fly to Saudi Arabia later on Wednesday to discuss with Saudi officials ways of developing bilateral relations.
Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Badr Abdel Ati said Shoukry will convene with Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Nayef al Saud and Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman in Jeddah.
Shoukry will meet also with Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al Jubeir to discuss ways of boosting bilateral relations.
The talks come as part of Egypt's efforts to develop a mutual vision regarding the latest developments in the region and challenges threatening it, the spokesman said.
He noted that the meetings will discuss the situation in Yemen, Syria, Libya and Iraq, as well as the anti-terror war.
Shoukry will make a stop in the UAE to hold talks with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed al Nahyan.
They will discuss ways of bolstering bilateral relations in all fields, as well as a number of issues of mutual concern.
