
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar ordered on Friday a major reshuffle that include a number of the ministry's senior officials.
Osama Mohamed al Saghir was named as the minister's assistant for economic security, Khaled Abdel Wahab Mohamed as assistant for social security, Ahmed Shafiq Abdel Ghafar as assistant for security, Belal Saad Abdel Hafiz as assistant for documents, Mohsen Mohamed el Yamani as assistant for inspection and supervision, Mohamed Rateb Ibrahim as assistant for Sinai region, Mohamed Kamal Said as assistant for public security and Hisham Mamdouh Mostafa as assistant for communications systems and information technology.
Also, Osama Fouad Moussa was appointed as the minister's assistant for Cairo security directorate, Abdel Fattah Abdel Tawab Osman as assistant for Damietta and Kafr el Sheikh security directorates, Mohamed Khaled Youssef as assistant for Minya and Assuit security directorates, Tarek Hassan Hassanin as assistant for Giza security directorate, Hassan Ibrahim Mahmoud as assistant for Prisons Sector.
Adel Abdel Azim was appointed as head of Qena security directorate, Khaled Mohamed Abdel Hamid as head of Police Academy, Abdel Hamid Abdel Azim as head of Gharbiya security directorate, and others.
