
Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Naglaa al-Ahwani arrived here on Monday to chair the joint Egyptian-Tunisian Ministerial Committee meeting.
The committee is scheduled to discuss means of beefing up economic cooperation and removing any impediments standing in the way of investors in both countries.
It will also probe increasing the volume of trade exchange up to dlrs 500 million in the coming phase.
The two sides will also discuss a number of agreements, memos of understanding and executive programs to be signed on Tuesday during the 15th session of the Higher Egyptian-Tunisian Committee to be co-chaired by Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and his Tunisian counterpart Habib Essid.
Egyptian Ambassador here Ayman Mosharafa, Tunisian Minister of trade Reda al Ahwal and Egypt's Minister Plenipotentiary Enas Zedan welcomed the Egyptian minister upon her arrival here.
