Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab inspected on Sunday renovation work of the Daqahlia security directorate building which was damaged in a terror attack in December 2013.
The prime minister tasked Arab Contractors Company to finalize the third phase of the restoration project in order to inaugurate the building during the upcoming celebrations of October War Victory.
Meanwhile, Mahlab, accompanied by ministers of planning, housing, health, irrigation and agriculture as well as Daqahlia governor, inspected the national theater near Daqahlia security directorate building that was also demaged during the terror attack.
He assigned the ministers of housing and culture to rebuild the theater after experts asserted it can never be restored.
In 2013, several security personnel were wounded when an explosion took place outside Mansoura police station, located on the first floor of Daqahlia security directorate.
