Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab underlined the need of finding a radical solution to the garbage problem.
The government puts the "garbage" problem on the top of its priorities, Mahlab added during a meeting Thursday on the cleaning system.
A host of ministers, governortes and heads of garbage companies attended the meeting.
Local Development Minister Adel Labib said that swift measures should be taken along with the national strategy for integrated development for solid wastes.
He also assigned the governors to issue an administrative decision to fine any shop, cafe or restaurant, which throw garbage in the street.
The NGOs should cooperate to support efforts in each governorate in order to get rid of the garbage problem, he added.
