The Egyptian march in carrying out the political roadmap has been a unique experience, Arab League assistant secretary general for the information sector Haifaa Abu Ghazala has said.
In statements Monday, Abu Ghazala, also head of the Arab League's parliamentary elections follow-up mission, said it was the first time for the pan-Arab body to follow up a political roadmap of a country from the beginning.
She pointed out that the mission had followed up Egypt's public referendum on the constitution, the presidential polls and finally the parliamentary elections.
The Arab League official also hailed Egypt's wining of the chairmanship of the anti-terrorism committee at the United Nations Security Council, saying that Egypt will represent the Arab nation within the Council.
She praised the Egyptian women's participation in the parliamentary elections.
