
The Presidency does not take sides in the elections, affirmed Head of the Independence Current Ahmed el Fadaly during his meeting with First Counselor and Head of Section of
Political Affairs, Press and Information at the delegation of the European Union in Egypt Gabriel Munuera Vinals.
During his meeting with Vinals Thursday, Fadaly said that claims about the presidency's support to "In the love of Egypt" list or any other lists in the upcoming parliamentary elections are totally bare of truth.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stands at the same distance from all political currents and forces, he affirmed.
Fadaly, meanwhile, asked the EU to stop supporting extremist organizations, including the Brotherhood international organization, because they support terrorism and violence.
He also pointed out to the terrorist operations, which target public establishments and diplomatic premises, including the Italian consulate,
