A report by prosecution will determine the reason behind the recent blackout that occurred at the Egyptian Radio and TV Union, the chairman of the security sector at ERTU has said.
The content of cameras has already been downloaded to know what happened during the period of the power cut, Mohsen el Shahawi told MENA on Tuesday.
Shahawi made it clear that Muslim Brotherhood elements are working at the different TV sectors. Those are being handled in line with law that regulates the administrative system, he noted.
He said that violators are either referred to the legal panel at ERTU or to the public prosecution for interrogation.
He touched upon a bunch of measures to protect the filming material of Maspero by increasing the number of surveillance cameras and coding and watermarking tapes.
The security and financial situation at the security sector is stable, Shahawi assured.
Part-timers have been appointed, except 50 cases that are still being studied, he said.
