Egyptian-Russian talks in military industrialization domain

Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed el Assar met on Tuesday with visiting Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting, which was attended by Minister of Trade and Industry Tareq Qabil, dealt with issues related to cooperation in the military and civil industrialization domains.

Assar praised relations between the two countries, pointing out that Egypt and Russia seek supporting joint efforts of promoting security, stability and development.

He described Egyptian-Russian relations as strong and distinguished under the leaderships of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and President Vladimir Putin.

For his part, the Russian minister praised the potentials of the military production factories in Egypt, pointing out that a delegation of Russian aviation armament experts toured some Egyptian military production factories to assess their conditions.
